GUIDE RULES FOR TEACHERS
- Any syllabus / Medal Award enquires can be answered by telephoning
Head Office
- Examination Dates must be booked and paid for at least 4 weeks prior
to the accepted date.
- Minimum entry fee for Grades and or Medals is £500.00
- A timetable is drawn up and sent to the teacher. Any alterations
must have the prior consent of Head Office.
- Late entries will be accepted up to 1 week prior to the exam date
at a late entry charge of £2.50 per pupil per exam or medal.
- No refunds will be given if a pupil withdraws, or is withdrawn by
the teacher.
- Please see newsletter Summer 2003 for current guidelines for withdrawal
due to illness.
- Each school may choose it’s own uniform. However a pupil should
not be seen in any other dance body’s guideline uniform. Hair
must be back from the face. Up for Ballet, no jewelry, no fringes, no
nail varnish. Costume and Make-up should be worn for Medals.
- Teachers of a class should not be the person playing the tape at
an examination, to avoid prompting.
- Results of Grade exams will be notified with in 3 weeks following
the exam date.
- Results of Medal Awards are given on the day, along with the Medal,
comment sheet and certificate.
- The Examiners decision is final. No conversation will be entered
into concerning their decisions and results.
- Pupils become student members of U.K.D.D.F on passing Elementary
in any one of the Grade Subjects, and must hold a current card before
taking any other Senior Examination
These guidelines should be kept by the Principle. Please send a signed
copy back to head office. This must be done before an Exam or Medal day
is booked.
